Mini Comics On Parade

by Sidra Roberts

Our very own Juan Navaro and the Promethian Press as spotlighted last month have put out two new mini comics Shazbot and Anarchy Bob. Both are the funniest things I've read in a long while.

Shazbot is about this superhero robot with low social skills who is one day flying around Miami looking for a battle. All of the sudden an airborne 1983 Nissan Maxima comes flying through the air. Yes indeedy, our boy has found his fight. The fight seen is much more gut-busting than classical heroism. After the battle Shazbot's sidekick a pugnose-like dog asks him to do an interview for his girlfriend. The dog has a girlfriend?!?!?!?! I know it's scary isn't it folks. The second issue picks up here. If you think you can never say the right thing.... wait ‘til you read Shazbot #2. I highly recommend you harass Juan for your copy today.

Anarchy Bob is (if possible) even more hilarious. In the first issue, Bob encounters ZOMBIE JEHOVA WITNESSES!!!!!! AHHHHH!!! Everyone run for your lives or sanity!!! Our hero Anarchy Bob in the grand frag ‘em tradition fixes our little buddies. In Anarchy Bob: Things I Heard witticisms are portrayed in wonderful Anarchy Bob fashion. You want to know what that is? Well like I said previously harass Juan Navaro.

As if you couldn’t tell I highly advocate you getting your hands on a copy of both of these and reading them. I bet you’ll enjoy them just ass much as I do.
