In the last twenty-four hours of Coop’s world, his best friend Jack has been murdered, he’s discovered Jack’s replacement is a werewolf, and Coop has just been attacked by four vampires who were sent by Banding. Now, there’s a sexy female reporter at the door who is covering the "Vampire Killings" in El Paso. Coop definitely scores points for being totally mesmerized by a pretty face and pretty body. Coop ends up setting up a "continue the interview"; Coop is planing this as more of a romantic date.

Meanwhile, Graeme has left the room grumbling about saving Coop’s butt and Coop getting the girl and we get a flashback of how Graeme discovered he was the drummer of Bloodlust: Graeme’s father figure in Gloucestershire, England owes Deacon, the brains of Bloodlust, a deep debt for standing by him during his hour of need and risking everything to do so. Thus when Deacon calls for Graeme to join the band Graeme has no choice but to go back to America. Amidst still bemoaning "playing second fiddle to a smart ass vampire" Graeme wanders outside into an alley and discovers an young woman who has had the living daylights beaten out of her and has been deposited in a trash pile.

As it turns out this woman is a junkie who threatened to turn her dealer into the police. Graeme being the kind gentke werewolf he is takes her in. What happens from there you’ll just have to read and find out the drama with Robin Sellers.

Once again the writing is fabulous and the art is eerily gorgeous. I can’t wait for Bloodlust #3 to come out in February. The first two issues promise much greatness to come from this comic. Pick it up now and I swear you won’t regret it.
