First of all I would like to apologize to everyone, especially the creators. This review was supposed to go up last month, but unfortunately due to a computer virus the computer with the review had to be wiped and I was unable to reconstruct it immediately due to an extensive research paper I had to write for my International Baccalaureate diploma. I'm done with the excuses; now, on with the review.

When I saw the cover of Travelers #3 I thought "Oh god, this is gonna be funny", unfortunately I wasn't sure from the cover whether it was supposed to be funny or if it was going to be inadvertently funny. Actually much to my relief it was the former rather than the later. And oh BOY is it priceless!!!

Travelers's cast is composed of a misfit merry band of men and well, one barbarian woman. This story centers on Barbara the Barbarian. Barbara is your typical barbarian. Barbara talk like this. Barbara like beer. Barbara have no smarts. Okay I think my point is taken.

Barbara used to be a gladiator she was the undefeatable champion; her boss, King Don always bet on her and paid her a percent of the wager. Barbara's main technique when fighting male opponents, as we can probably all guess, was distraction. One day Barbara was pitted against a group of women warriors, who look satirically like all the other women warriors in the comic genre i.e. Wonder Woman, Shi, Xena, Lady Death). At the end it degenerates into a struggle between Wanda Wonder and Barbara and a screaming match. Due to the lack of blood shed the crowd runs riot and King Don runs off with all the money.

Two years later Barbara is working in the tavern and the tavern is in financial trouble no thanks to Barbara. What will save the tavern? King Don has died and left Barbara an old castle of his. So Barbara the Tavern Owner, Sir Dan the Optimist, and their band of bumbling men head to the castle to see what they can sell in the castle. But the castle like all of King Don's deals has a shady dealing-a curse.

How will the gang survive this menace? To find out and for innumerable laughs go buy Travelers #3!
