A tough smart kid decides to go underground at an amusement park. When he almost botches the job, he is saved by a robot elf. Thus begins another of Spider Robinson's completely human, completely madcap adventures.

As amusement parks go, Dreamworld is better than Disney, better that Six Flags, and damn near better than . . . well, you get the idea! If someone with a terminal disease dies in Dreamworld, they die happy. Why the tough, smart kid has decided to run away is one of the book's several mysteries. Its no mystery why he chose Dreamworld as his hideout.

As the story progresses, we begin to find that all is not quite kosher in Dreamworld. Strange happenings are afoot. Somehow, the boy and the not-really-a-robot-elf wind up right in the middle of it. As the story careens further and further out of control, you begin to wonder if even Spider Robinson can manage to find a way to end this crazy mess!

THERE, I made it through without ANY *spoilers*

I was lucky enough to be able to buy this book at the San Diego ComicCon before it was officially published and get Spider to sign it for me. Just set aside a weekend when you don't have to do anything before you buy it!
