How to describe this book? I think the first thing that comes to mind is preeeeeeeeeeeetty art. I spent a lot of the book looking at the art and just slobbering. It’s downright gorgeous. The story is fast paced and interesting, too.

One of the main character is Justin, who at the beginning of the book is on a mission from the Top Secret International team called the Deceivers. His mission is about to take turns he never anticipated. Justin is the destroyer of Atlantis. He has been kept in stasis and has had his mind and powers wiped from his brain.

Kalia, from what I can gather, used to be Justin’s lover, girlfriend, significant other whatever you wanna call it, back in Atlantis. She’s now the head bodyguard of a Prince who’s been kidnapped. While on her mission to rescue the Prince she runs into Jason. They end up fighting together and falling ultimately off a cliff together.

The story has a nice set up. I really like the science fiction/ literary mythos combination. It has an intriguing feel to it. I like the tag line a lot: Science, History, Myth and Legend. The art, as I said before, is very pretty. The women’s breasts are a little big but not so big that they look downright wrong on their frames. However the male faces tend to be a little on the effeminate side. Despite this, the character’s faces are extremely expressive, which makes up for them looking a little girlie.

Issue two should be coming out soon. Be sure to pick both it and this one up at your local comic shops. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
