CABIN FEVER
Decidedly a new take on horror films. I can see
that this will be the new fad. Basically, it's a disease movie. But with
a little tongue-in-cheek put in for good measure.
It doesn't take itself too seriously and is
certainly a far cry from the "drama within horror"
that '28 Days Later' displayed. That being said,
they decided to no holds barred gore with some
teeth grinding moments. And throw in some very
strange ( or funny? ) passages in there for good
measure. Suffice it to say, initial raving reviews
had me expecting a little more. However, those who
know nothing about it ( and like horror films )
will probably like it. Besides, it stars the kid
from Boy Meets World... What more do you need?!
