SLITHER
Off the bat, this movie didnīt look like it was out to take itself too
seriously. The trailers promised something a little bit fun and a little
gory and a little bit sci-fi. Well by and large it delivered. The film is about a
parasite from outer space that implants itself in a host and starts to
transform him. As he transforms, he infects the rest of the townsfolk with
his offspring. Heard this before? Sure, but it has a few interesting twists, and
itīs not just about "bodysnatching" either. It also has a few good laughs.
Overall though, the movie left me wanting for something more. It kinda fell
short of being a great horror-scifi flick. But a fun little movie
nonetheless.
