SAW 3
The "Saw" series has always promised some pretty nasty extreme
gore. And this one is no different. This time, Jigsaw is dying, and is
having his apprentive, Amanda ( as revealed in Saw 2 ) take over for
him. With only a few plot twists, Saw 3 does not surprise at the script
level very much and completely falls flat of the twist endings the other
two left us with. Of course, that's what happens when you set a
precedence and people expect that. ( Like M. Knight Shamaylan's films,
for example ).
All told, the movie wasn't bad. And it wasn't all-out
predictable. The "death traps" were still quite fabulous, and not just
because of gore per se. ( Pay attention to the slaughterhouse scene...
ewwwww ). So its still definitely worth a gander for those horror fans.
I know I'm waiting for Saw 4 next year.
