Erich S. Arendall
    "The Distracted"

Once upon a time, in the spring of 1975, President Nixon recalled troops from Viet Nam, and a boy by the name of Erich was born - which kind of puts the whole 'Nam thing in perspective, don't you think? Life for Erich was pretty uneventful until ten years later, in the winter of '85, a cousin by the name of Donald introduced Erich to a game known as Advanced Dungeons and Dragons (1st Ed., for those keeping score at home). Inspired by the free-form flowing of the game and intrigued by the image of the succubus in the monster manual (yum!), it wasn't long before Erich began squandering all his moneys towards this fascinating role-playing thing, except for that one year when he got into Transformers - to this day Erich really wants someone to publish a Transformers RPG.

In the past nine years, Erich's library of gaming resources has grown to immense proportions, threatening to expand beyond his bookshelves, and take over the refrigerator. For fifteen years now, Erich has role-played nearly non-stop, and apparently, there is no end in sight for the lad. Erich funds this habit by developing and managing eCommerce web sites at a growing Houston-based company. During the spare time that is not used in gaming, Erich assists many fledgling RPG designers, ram-rodding his opinions down their throat. Erich is also currently developing a dice-based RPG, a diceless RPG, and a non-collectable card game. With what little time is left, Erich devotes himself to wooing women (well, one woman in particular...can you guess who?), studying mythology, theology and magic, and watching movies. He also writes a monthly column for the on-line RPG magazine, RPGnet.

Erich has also been seen on the 'Net wearing the pseudonyms of Shadow Sprite and on IRC as WitKiller. For any other information, check your local libraries. To send Erich some e-mail (he can never get enough), write to witkiller@hotmail.com.
