Floyd Choat

Texas cartoonist, Floyd "Nature Boy" Choat, served 24 years in the United States Air Force as an airfield manager. He has always been a big fan of comics since age 6 when he saw his first Captain America comic (with Bucky). Unfortunatley when he moved from Eddyville, KY to Palmyra, TN, his father told him that his "enviable" collection was just too much weight so......(oh the horror!) By the way, the city of Eddyville is now under about 50 feet of water that is called Kentucky Lake. While in the military, Floyd did a lot of freelance work for the NCO/Officers Club, the recreation center, blowling alley, etc, which gave him a lot of additional income. Floyd has sold many cartoons to THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER, HUSTLER HUMOUR, THE SUN, LETTERS, THE GLOBE, CALIFORNIA HIGWAY PATROL, VA TROOPER, and UNION COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE NEWS. Floyd now makes his home in Lubbock, TX, is married to a wonderful Texas lady and has a son that lives and works in Ft Worth.
