Welcome to the second edition of The Collector Times On-line. As promised, this issue is bigger and more varied in its articles. We have so many good things in this issue, I dont know where to start.I want to welcome back jin, our popular columnist in the print version of The Collector Times. Check out his Magiks Cafe for an great interview with Douglas Shuler, an artist of Magic: the Gathering. I also want to extend greetings to a new columnist this month, Jeff Thompson. Please visit Jeffs Coke Corner and learn about the wonders of Coca Cola Collectibles. Jamies Clubhouse features an excellent interview with Steve Darnall, the writer and co-plotter of DCs Uncle Sam. Jamie also has another special interview with Houstons own Terry Moore about Strangers in Paradise. Ian Johnston has gone into high gear this month and is now writing two columns. Please read his Last Word column and see the illustration by Joe Singleton. I think youll enjoy it. Ian is also doing a Playstation video game review column, so you can read about the games before you buy. We also are featuring new Texas artists in our art gallery this month. See fan art by Bert Harris, an artist in Austin. We also have a picture from Michael Garys comic book String, published by Outlook Comics. Michael lives in Dallas. We are also reprinting Utter Confusion, a comic strip by Daniel Fu, which was originally published in the University of Texas student newspaper. Oh, and we have a lot more! Youd better read it all, because I cant list all of the wonderful articles and features youll find inside this issue. And what does the Collector Times have planned for the future? Convention coverage, thats what. I have correspondents covering the E3 gaming con in Atlanta this summer and your humble editor and family plan on covering ComicCon International in San Diego. A heartfelt thanks to all of you who visited us and read our first issue and are now back for more. A big, warm Texas "howdy" to all that are visiting us for the first time. We want all of yall to take your shoes off, feel free to wander around, and make yourself at home: you are the most important person here. In case you missed the first issue, you can read it in our Archives. If you want to send us letters of comment, criticism, or just a plain hello, feel free. We print all letters received, as long as they arent waaaaay over the edge of good taste. Sheryl Roberts, ed.
