COMIC SHOP OF THE MONTH

Jason Hennington is the new manager.
Another month and once again another wonderful comic shop. This month it is All Star Collectibles, a marvelous collectibles shop. They have a large a mass quantity of collectibles of all types. In addition to all of this they have a friendly, helpful staff.

First, I was stunned upon walking into the store and seeing all the different types of things available. When you walk into All Star Collectibles you first see a display case on the left wall with all sorts of collectible Barbie( including X-files,Calvin Klein, Happy Holidays, Elizabethan, etc.), Disney dolls( Mulan, Evil Witch from snow White, etc.), Grateful Dead Bears, which I had no previous knowledge of prior to entering All Star Collectibles, and also beanie Babies.
There are also a lot of comic books. Recent arrivals are in plastic racks hanging on the wall. The past couple weeks recent arrivals are on the racks on the same wall. Back issues can be found in the boxes in the island. Things like trade paperbacks can be found further along the wall, where the past weeks recent arrivals.

Sports collectibles can be found in abundance in All star Collectibles. Anything from sports cards to signed baseballs. The sports cards don’t only pertain baseball cards, but also football, basketball, hockey, and racing. There are also Houston Comet and Dallas Cowboys posters, miniature hockey goalie helmets, and Beckett magazines on baseball, hockey, sorts and collectibles.

Action figures of various genres can also be found at All Star Collectibles, such as Tomb Raider, Spawn, Creed, Racing Champion, and not to mention sports figures. Aside from sports posters they also have comic posters and wide selection on comic T-shirts. There are also many collectible guides on sale front he most common like Wizard and Toyfare to a bit more abstract things like, Star Wars Galaxy, starting Lineup and Hot Toys . For gaming fans there are Magic cards, Exodus cards, Dungeon and Dragons guides, etc.

I honestly believe that All Stars Collectibles is for any collectibles fan in search of something new. It has come of the coolest stuff I’ve seen in a while. The staff is really friendly and ready and willing to help.
