Oh man, I love Hypertime. While you folks are busy figuring out how it works, I've been
sitting here figuring out how to use it to our advantage. I'm the life long Legion of
Superheroes nut, and with Hypertime, I can have my preboot Legion along with the
postboot Legion. Yes, indeedy, the door is open to new preboot Legion stories now, and
I see no reason why we can't ask for them.
I want an 80 page Hypertime Legion Annual, featuring new stories from all eras of the
preboot Legion; Adventure, v2, v3, and v4. Heck, maybe even a 5 Year Gap story! There
are still stories left untold from the previous continuity, and danglers reaching
all the way back to the Adventure series. I would like to see these stories told, and
I'm not real picky about how they do it. I have read on the lsh newsgroup that some of
the original creators are interested in doing Legion work, and what better project
for them to do than this? The post boot Legion can go on forging new ground (or
whatever it is that they are doing) while we get a stroll down memory lane as a
diversion.
My daughter and I were so enamoured by this Legion idea, that we got Jason Bourgeois to
ask on AOL Legion Chat about the possibiltity of seeing such a project. The creators
said that if we wanted to see a Hypertime project like this, to write and ask for
it. So, we did. If you want to see a project like this done, please write to the Legion
