Wow, that’s all I can think of to describe this comic, WOW! Christopher Priest’s characters are absolutely fascinating and full of rich texture and depth. I especially love the intriguing panels with Nakia and the intellectually stimulating and entertaining panels with Queen Divine Justice. The powers of the bad guy Hydro Man are succinctly unique and the plot is mesmerizing. Priest weaves an captivating web of characters, and it will be highly entertaining to see how all of these characters interact with one another. Each of the individual characters make up small part of the whole view—to fully see what is going on in the book you have to look at the story and the hero from all of the various viewpoints. Priest is truly one of the most intelligent and exceptional writers out there today.

Velluto and Almond’s work on the art can not be done justice by saying it is beautiful for it is far more splendid than that. The art adds immensely to the allure of Black Panther and convinces you that you MUST turn the page and see what happens next. I cannot honestly remember the last time I saw such magnificent realism drawn into a comic book.

I must say I was very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of Black Panther #13. You have to go buy it when it comes out in stores in the end of October. You OWE it to yourself—it would be a crime not to buy it! Trust me you won’t regret it.
