    Hello!

I'm trying to sell my MickeyMouse Comics from 1951 (nr. 1 and 3). Does somebody want to buy them or know where I can go to?

    Bye celine

    Hi Celine!

I am sure that you will be able to sell your Mickey Mouse comics. You can offer them for auction at http://www.ebay.com or you can post them for sale in the newsgroup rec.arts.comics.marketplace.

    Good Luck!

    Old Illustrated Comics

    Do you buy comic books?

I have several issues of classic illustrated comic books such as

      alice in wonderland #49
      david copperfield #48
      mysteries of paris #44

Can you tell what they are worth?

        Thanks
        r.

      Hi R!

No, I don't buy comics, but I can at least give you an idea of what your comics are worth from the 1998 Overstreet Price Guide.

With Classics Illustrated, the Edition it is in is important. I can give you a range with the first edition being the most valuable, and the last edition of the issue being least valuable. Of course, comic condition is important. All of these are prices listed are in fine condition, which is the middle range. #44 Mysteries in Paris Ranges from $185 in the first edition to $68 in the third edition. #48 David Copperfield Ranges from $34 in the first edition to $2.40 in the 15th edition. #49 Alice in Wonderland Ranges from $50 in the first edition to $8.40 for edition 8A. Edition 8B is worth $15.00, for whatever reason. You might think about offering these comics for auction on ebay, if you want to sell them. Hope This Helps!

    Hi Brian!

I did a search on http://www.ebay.com on your book. I find one currently up for auction, and the current bid on it is $10.50. You can track it at this url:

You might consider putting yours for auction, too!

    Good luck!

    hi !!!

my brother is asking me to buy him a tradepaperback entitled Crisis on Infinite Earths by Marv Wolfman (writer) and George Perez (penciler).

can you suggest a comic shop where i can purchase this. i'm still new here in irving, texas and don't know any comic shop here.

    hope you can help me.

      thanks.

    Hi Cristy!

Sidra is up at school right now, so you get me, Sheryl, her mother. We live in Houston, and not in Dallas, so I had to do some investigation. The good news is that the TPB of Crisis isn't coming out until November or December, so you have plenty of time.

The comic shop I had referred to me is Titan Comics. You can get all the information you need about the shop on their website:

    Thanks for writing!

    What About Art?

    I have the following painting:

      Title: Halfway House
      Artist: H. Bolton Jones
      Date: 1876
      Size: 24" X 48.5" (29" X 52" Framed)

Do you have any information about this painting or know how I can go about getting it appraised?

    Hi Cinzia!

Whereas I don't deal with fine art, I do have a couple of ideas for you. Within the last month, I have gotten a couple of URLs that may help you on your search:

    http://www.strongnumbers.com/

    http://www.eppraisals.com

Another suggestion I have is to call your local fine arts museum and ask if they have an appraiser that they can refer you to. Some antique dealers in your area may have ideas, too.

    Good luck!
