The Anomalies #1: Who are the Anomalies?

Published by Abnormal Fun Comics

The Anomalies is a new inventive comic. While I’ve seen comicbooks done with photography as the art, I have never ever seen it done anywhere near this well. This book is phenomenal. The writing might not be the most original writing, but it is cute and fun.

If you’re looking for Hollywood CGI special effects, go away. This is a comicbook... who needs fancy-schmancy special effects? Some of the robots and flying cars look like something out of a b-movie, which wins definite brownie points in my book. The photography is FABULOUS and the placement of the word balloons is perfect. The costumes look awesome and the makeup looks wonderful, too. The computer added text and special effects is matted effectively and visually blends in with the photography almost seamlessly.

The creators of the Anomalies need to be thoroughly commended on making an absolutely charming and entertaining comicbook. I’m most definitely looking forward to their next issue. You should go pick this book up if you can; it’s an absolute treat.
