At the end of Black Tide 3 we were left with Catharta holding our hero and Atlantis' villain, Justin, in a choke hold. Luckily for Justin, his lover from his past life, Kaila, rushes in and saves him. They escape from Catharta and the Queen of Atlantis with her son. Previously the Prince told his mother that if she insisted he was only a figurehead, she could rule by herself.

After their escape they retreat to Kaila's private island. Things get romantically interesting and Justin gets a call from his top secret international team. He takes both Kaila and the prince to the HQ with him where it is revealed that both he and Kaila work for this organization. They get sent on a mission together.

Meanwhile Catharta allies herself with the Queen of Atlantis.

This issue displays the GREAT plotting and characterization that has been present throughout the whole series. The art seems a little less than par this issue, but perhaps that's because the issues are beginning to come out more often. Once again I recommend that you pick it up.
