Stripperella
Stripperella is a animated show that stars Pam Anderson as the
lead character. The action takes place in The Tenderloins, which
is a strip club. Strippers dancing is an integral part of the show.
Pam will appear live at the beginning and the end of each
episode. The show uses a combination of 2D and CGI
animation. Villains who are featured include Dr. Caesarean,
who is an evil surgeon who does things like implant nitroglycerin
in boobs, and Cheapo, a villain on a budget. The show includes
such supporting characters as the stripper Persephone, who is
dating 1/2 of a pair of Siamese twins. Pam, who is Strippella,
has such secret gadgets as breasts which are lie detectors. If
one touches, them, one has to tell the truth. She uses her tongue
lick things, because her tongue is a computer scanner. All in all,
it looks like its going to be an amusing show.
JLA
Aquaman is coming back. JLA is going looking for him in The
Search for Aquaman. There will be tons of characters featured,
and the team will be different afterwards. Also, this will launch a
revamped Aquaman comic.
JLA/Avengers,
Busiek is writing, Perez is drawing. Kurt Busiek
jokes it includes "a luau and a fight." There will be actual
repercussions in the DCU coming from the crossover.
Leonard Kirk is not going to draw Supergirl much longer. There
is way too much in his last issue for him to talk about.
As far as JSA goes, there is another Golden Age story coming
"kinda." Crimson Avenger sets his sights on Wildcat about JSA
#45.
Lord of The Rings : The OneRing.net Panel
Let me preface this by saying that some of this is speculation,
and other parts of it are factual. I cant really tell you which is
which. The Two Towers in the movie refer to Barad Dur and
Orthanc. Haldir, the lead elf from Lothlorien, has a large role in
The Two Towers. He apparently leads Lothlorien elves to assist
in the Battle of Helms Deep. Eowens role is expanded in the
movie. For some unknown reason, Elrond cannot hold
Rivendell, so he leads a migration to Lothlorien. Shelob is put off
until The Return of The King. From the footage that the
OneRing.net folks have seen, they speculate that Saruman is
killed by being pushed off of Orthanc by Grima, the
Wormtongue. Apparently Theodens son Theodred, is going to
be poisoned by Wormtongue over a period of time, instead of
being killed in battle.
Smallville, the TV Show
Next season the creators are trying to get away from the
"creature of the week" format. They are going to cover some of
the past of Krypton, as it pertains to Clark. They are introducing
Red Kryptonite next season. We are going to see more of Pete
Ross. Lois Lane is Chloes cousin. The creators are trying to
find a way to introduce a young Bruce Wayne, probably as an
old prep school chum of Lex Luthor.
