Con Report in Pictures
TCAF (Toronto Comic Arts Festival)

Page 2

The con itself had 3 rooms.

This is Room 1. Registration was done to the left of me. On the left is where people were giving away their free paper about comics and indy music. On the right were a lot of books being sold, the guy sitting and talking to the woman in black is Michel Rabagliati a french Canadian creator of Paul has a Summer Job.

The woman in front is a staff member, I couldn't get a shot without one of them walking in front of me.

This is Room 2, where the bulk of the buying was done. See that balcony up top? mwhahahahaha...

I decided this would make a much better shot.

Standing in the lower right, dressed in black, arms on her hips is Carla Speed McNeil.

Upstairs was some guy asleep on a bench. He must have been really tired as he was on an uncomfortable bed and there was a racket going on downstairs. Despite my instincts, I decided to leave the poor bugger alone and not take a picture.

Another shot of the room.

Same room, different angle.

This is Room 3.

A 2nd shot of room 3. In the window facing towards us is David Mack. Creator of Kabuki from Image and artist on Daredevil. He was the most "mainstream" creator here. Like Milk in a grocery store, he was put in the back corner.
