More Close ups

This is the "back" wall of Room 2, where there was probably the most traffic. Took me a long time to get these shots as all these creators were surrounded by fans the whole time. All these guys have done highly critically acclaimed work.

Jason Little creator of Shutterbug Follies

Jason Lutes creator of Berlin and Jar of Fools. He was doing some very nice sketches in books people bought. I already own Berlin and bought Jar of Fools from the 1st room.

Poor Seth didn't have any TPB's to sell as his Palookaville was out of print. Too bad as I would have bought one from him. Good news is it should be back in print in about a month.

I can tell you one thing, Seth draws like a mofo. He was doing really great sketches the entire con. Pencil, Ink, then blue tone coloured, and with backgrounds. I saw one fan offer to pay for the sketch and he declined. He told another fan that he called himself Seth when he was a Goth stage and picked it because it sounded pretentious and intimidating. Now he wishes he picked another name. He says everybody knows him by that name now, so he's stuck with it.

Chester Brown is currently working on Louis Riel a non-fiction book about a Canadian Rebel. I am *so* going to buy this book when it comes out in trade. It's the only comic that I feel a tinge of guilt about for not buying it in serialized form. I saw another publisher sheepishly give him their catalogue offering to publish his work. Chester was also doing great sketches for fans.
