WHAT I CARE TO SEE
By Stephane Morrell

FREDDY VS JASON

First off, if you're the type of person who expects to go to get scared, don't go. This is not what this movie is about. It stars two "horror" icons that have not BEEN scary for a decade, but rather seen as tongue in cheek serial killers. The kind of folks that you root for ( instaed of the teenagers ) in the movies they star in.

That being said, if you like Freddy, or you like Jason, then you'll LOVE Freddy vs. Jason. It goes over the top with lots of what made these two famous, and then pits it against each other. Amazingly enough, except for a few plot holes if you compare it to the older movies ( and these movies NEVER have any plot holes nooo! ), the story was actually very well thought out. Freddy and Jason are both in hell, Freddy can't escape because he's been forgotten on Elm Street and what remaining kids that can still remember him are on that drug proposed in Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, which inhibits them from dreaming. So what does he do? Enlist the help of Jason of course... Through trickery no-less. Suffice it to say, Jason gets miffed and all hell breaks loose.

For the real fans who want to know . . . Freddy is sort of a mix of the original Freddy ( and the New Nightmare Freddy ) with a bit of the comedic Freddy. He's more evil than he's been in more recent films, but still ever the jokester. Jason is sort of a mix too. He's smaller like the pre-part-seven , this is due to the fact that Kane Hodder does not play him, but still indestructible as he's been in more recent films.
