Once again there is a fabulous Halloween Man book out. This one has four separate stories in the Halloween Man universe. This is book one of a planned six issue quarterly reprint series. Each of these books is to feature a new introduction. This one is done by Jesse Farrell. There is also a new stunning color cover by Nicola Scott. There's also bonus pin-ups and wonderfully campy Lucy paper dolls. An additionally interesting thing this book has is trivia and a list of what inspired each other the stories. These bonus features really are a fascinating read.

The art is once again awesome and varied. The Collector Times' own Joe Singleton does art on the second story of the book. Unfortunately the printing on that story makes it a little hard to read the text, but with a little squinting it can be done. This anthology of Halloween man introduces such creations as Con Thing and the Data Cats. It also elaborates on our favorite old characters: Soloman, Man-Goat and Lucy. The only problem I have is aside from the art style changing it is not clear at times that one story has ended and the other has begun.

Overall, it is classic Halloween Man and if you enjoy fun horror camp, you should definitely pick it up. Go check at http://www.halloweenman.com/ to get your own copy.

Halloween Man: Solar City Monster Guide

This is a great little companion book to any Halloween Man fan's collection. It is also a great pick-up book for people who have never read the book. It gives a brief bio of all the creatures found in the world of Halloween Man, including a bio on the title character. The art is cute and varied. Aside from just having bios, the book also has commentary by the normal human characters of the book. It's really just the Halloween Man equivalent of a Who's Who anthology.
