This is an illustration done by Rick from chapter 12 of his fantasy novel, Cardan's Pod, which is running here in The Collector Times. I think the composition is lovely, don't you agree?
Jason Bourgeois has been a busy guy this month. Not only has he written his usual column Grey Matters, but he also attended Wizard World Boston. We have a con report and photos from Boston. Jason also conducted an interview with prolific comics writer and book author Greg Rucka.
It's no secret that I'm a major Legion of Superheroes geek, so you can be sure I'll be telling you to go over and to take a look at Joe Singleton's reworking of Laurel Kent/Gand in Artistic License. I really like what he's done with her appearance, and you should go check it out.
We have a slew of other things for you this month, too. Mat Bredfeldt writes his feelings about certain toy collectors in Toy Chest, and AJ Reardon has some words of Advice to Web Comic Creators. Plus a whole lot more. Take some time and look around. I think you'll be glad that you did!
