This month sees some more summer and fall releases. As always article ideas can be sent to my editor and she'll see that I get them.
The Marvel Legends Face Offs that I mentioned last month have a second set coming out in the fall. Look for two packs of Punisher vs Jigsaw, Iron Man vs Mandarin and Wolverine vs Sabretooth. They will also have variant versions of the packs like the first set.
Playmates Toys has a new line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles releasing in the Late Summer to co-inside with the release of the new TMNT cartoon called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Fast Forward. The line will have the four main characters as well as their evil clones as well as the grandson of April O'Neil and Casey Jones called Cody Jones as well as his robotic servant Sterling.
Hasbro has lots more Star Wars goodies coming out this summer to go along with the Galactic Hunt figures that are out now. The first set, which should be out this spring, contains single figures that have been sorely missed over the past few releases. Look for SW Clone Wars cartoon Talz Jedi Knight Foul Moudama, Firespeeder Pilot, Lushros Dofine and the most wanted since last year, Clone Commander Cody. Single figures due out in the summer include Moff Jerrod and Death Star Gunner. An exclusive to the internet includes Lucas Family Gift Set, and exclusives to Toys R Us are the Hunt for Grevious Battle Pack (5 various colored Arc and Clone Troopers) and a painted up Republic Gunship that you can use to pose the troopers from the Grevious Battle Pack.
Toynami has a new series of Macross (not Robotech) toys based on the Anime of the same name. The line of jet fighters based on the Veritechs of Macross that are due out in July are going to stand 5 inches tall (that comes out to about 1/100 scale) and will transform into three modes. The three versions are Max's, Roy's and Hikaru's Veritech's. Due out now is a 12 inch tall figure of Hikaru all dressed up in his Skull Squadron uniform and comes with a full size Skull Squadron patch. Look for the fighters to be released in July and the Hikaru figure out now.
