Web Comics Review in Haiku
by Chris Reid

I love web-comics. I probably read about thirty or so of them a day. A new hobby of mine is trying to convince others to read the same web-comics that I love (this allows for some hot meme-sharing action), but this can be quite difficult. I've decided to review my favorite 17 web-comics. In order to facilitate this in the most expeditious fashion, I will attempt to write all of the reviews in haiku*.

Dresden Codak
what is true genius?
an idea stealing bear, an
Einstein-Rosen bridge

Sluggy Freelance

cute, fluffy bunny
would you like a nice carrot?
switchblade goes "ka-click"

xkcd

Sarcasm, Romance, Math:
I've never been happier
to be a true geek

Last Blood

zombies rule the world,
vampires must save us to feed
what more could you want?

Dominic Deegan

Dominic Deegan:
an oracle for hire,
never without scarf

Girl Genius

if I was a spark,
I would build me a robot
to shake people's hands

Penny Arcade

Gabriel's crazy;
with Pac-Man shirt, cardboard tube:
ghosts must run in fear

Ctrl+Alt+Del

Ethan is a blast --
He's like my friends, just without
that "pyro off-switch"

Schlock Mercenary

his plasma guns hum,
the amorph does stand apart:
he's always on time

Partially Clips

clip art, dialogue:
you may love it, hate it - but,
Paradox Dragon!

a softer world

pictures, dialogue:
dark, with such twisted humor
it would make great shirts

Dinosaur Comics

eloquent comic
I learn much reading it, like:
T-Rex has small arms

Nuklear Power

sword-chucks and ninja flips,
it all boils down to Black Mage.
he burns things too, though

Errant Story

errants are half-elves;
problems with being crossbreeds
never looked this good

Purgatory Tower

most beautiful art
with a well-written story.
...is that girl part squirrel?

Perry Bible Fellowship

humor so twisted
I'd feel bad about laughing.
(I laugh anyway)

Nodwick

big nose, foil hat,
we all need a Piffany,
wizard's got some 'stache

*Yes, they're senryu:
They do not involve nature;
I'm quite proud of you!
