Welcome to the March Edition of the Collector Times!
Our cover comes to us from Indigo, a talented creator who has a web comic located here:
http://kismetropolis.com/
Indigo drew this as a companion piece to Jesse Willey's tribute to Steve Gerber.
Steve died recently from complications of pulmonary fibrosis. His Howard the Duck comic was one of my
favorites once upon a time, and I'm sure we all mourn his loss.
Jason Bourgeois conducted an interview with Francis Manapul last month. It got
put online late, so if you haven't read it please go take a look. There's another review coming, too. For
some reason my interviews are ending up on the site off schedule, please bear with us.
We have a lot of thoughtful commentary this month. Jason Bourgeois writes about the current state of the X
books in Grey Matters. Wally Flores, Jr. takes a look at the effect of Civil War on
some comics titles and finds himself mourning "The Good Old Days" in Graphic Content.
Sidra Roman gives us an opinion piece about the state of publicity in movies in her article
The Rise and Fall of Juno. Mat Bredfelt compares comic
trends from the past with comic trends now.
In short, we have a lot of good stuff, and more! Take some time to look around. As always,
we are glad to have you here!
