Welcome to the September Edition of The Collector Times!
Our cover this month comes from the talented hand of long time CT contributor Brett Schmidt.
It's always a delight to receive art from Brett. I wish he had time to contribute more frequently.
This month, we have more stuff from Comic Con International. Jason Bourgeois has a ton of photos
from the con, and Wally Flores Jr. has written an insightful overview of the convention, and
includes photos of the things he saw. The nice thing about having several writers at a con as large as Comic
Con International, is that I get a whole different view of the con from other's perspectives. We all saw
different things and did different things, and it's fun to see what one missed. Chris Reid conducted a very
interesting interview this month with Howard Taylor, the creator of Schlock
Mercenary, one of the longest running comics on the web. Not to be outdone, Jesse Willey provides us with not
one, but two opinion pieces this month. Feel free to write me or Jess your responses.
I'll publish them next month.
Speaking of next month, as I type, Jason Bourgeois is attending Dragon Con in Atlanta. Expect to see his report
next month.
Plus, we have lots more. Take some time to look around. As always, we are glad that you are here!
