Our front cover is courtesy of Van Allan. This is a piece of art promoting his new graphic novel Stargazer. I am so looking forward to reading it!
First off, did I enjoy Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs? Why yes, I did, quite a lot. I saw it in 3D, which just sort of added to the fun. What I liked about this latest installment is that the dialogue was snappy and funny. Periodically they'd throw in a really adult joke that went "whoooosh" right over the kid's heads. It was great. I'd recommend it to anyone.
Jamie Coville, that lucky bastard, got to go to San Diego this year and you'll find his con report here. The League of Explorers continues, with AJ Reardon doing the honors this month. Jesse Willey talks about the friendships and rivalries in the Marvel Universe this month. Not to be outdone, Jason Bourgeois gives us a peek at the Hulkverse. Joe Singleton reworks a German webcomic he likes called Union of Heroes in Artistic License. Plus, we have a whole lot more.
