Happy New Year everyone! Man, where did last year go? You know, when I was a kid, I never thought I'd ever make it to 18, the time passed soooooo slow. Now the older I get, the faster the time goes. There's some theory of time distortion in that, but darned if I know what it's called.

This year begins with lists. Jason Bourgeois looks back at the top ten changes in comics in 2011. Jesse Willey starts the year with a new column entitled Year of the Superhero. In it he looks at a character's 10 best issues and then some topic related to the charcter. First up is Batman. I know you'll enjoy it because I did. Mat Bredfelt gives us a column that feature some lists, like the biggest box office bombs of 2011 and what we can expect from various companies on Free Comic Book Day. Much to my delight and surprise, Erich Arendall sent in a toy review of Figma Vocaloids. Plus, we have more, we always do!
You might have to bear with me in February. I am going to have some surgery done this month and it might take me a little time to recover. I fully expect to have a February issue of the CT up for you to enjoy, but we might have to skip a month if things don't go as I plan. And no, my condition isn't life threatening, it just prevents me from doing things I like to do so I am going to have the problem fixed.
