Welcome to the March Edition of The Collector Times!
Our cover is of a supernatural comic named Fatale that Mat Bredfeldt likes a lot. Read his "Random Crap" column for a review, among other opinions and news. Mat also gives us a review of the new Star Trek HeroClix game. Jesse Willey, prolific as ever, gives us double doses of his The Year of the Super Hero and The 52 Book Challenge. And of course, I get this late cryptic email from Jason Bourgeois about how he'd like to see The Scarlet Spider and The Blue Beetle do a team up and I was onto his column. Well! Apparently Houston has a superhero now called the Scarlet Spider, a clone of Spiderman that isn't Spiderman. Guess that's going on my pull list now, a first from Marvel in many years. I just hope the writer isn't sitting there watching all of the new Texas reality shows that are on TV for inspiration, because Houston isn't like any of that. Thanks for your patience last month as I recovered from my tendon surgery. The recovery period has taken much longer than I anticipated. I've just started physical therapy and am trying to follow all of the exercise instructions so I can go back to work towards the end of the month. We have a lot of good things for you this month, so please take some time to look around. As always, we are glad that you are here!
