As each European country has almost his own collectors clubs, some small
ones and some bigger ones. The Belgium collectors club is one of the view
which is a chapter of the US collectors club.
And when we speak about different country's we speak also about
different habits. As I've been to several collectors meetings in Europe, till
now I've got the opportunity to participate in 7 different country's.
What I've noticed the most is that in one country people runs like crazy
after an item and in another country nobody wants it. So it's hard to tell what
does European coke collectors collect in fact.
I would say on the first place cans, but that wouldn't be trough as like
Spain has almost no can collectors, if yiy don't counth the two I know. Also
Germany has as far I know about 10 can collectors and I may overreact a little
bit too.
Some overseas traders/freinds says always to me you'e so lucky to have all
that manny meetings, but I just don't know it better as it is now. Well I've
contasted that in the last few years some more meeting appears as at the time
I've had organised mine first meeting what is now 5 years ago.
But what I really know is that living in a small country as I do, the
collectors are more to getting good friends which you just meet on the
meetings. Here people says 75 miles is to far to go to a meeting, as they
know there will be one near them once a year.
What I like the most of collecting is, first to recieve the parcel everwhere
out the world. But after years the contact you've are now more friends as tradepartner.
Collecting coke is now just a part of the friendship, in fact it's how it has
started it.
And that's why I always say Thanks Coca-cola for giving me so manny good
friends worldwide, even we didn't seen us we know deap in our hart that we are friends
for live, caring about each of their family as it was your family. And on the question,
is there still something you would like to have, I defently will say yes, "just a ticket"!
not more then that. A ticket to give me the change to visit one time all mine friend out
there in the big Coke collectors world.
