Welcome to the March edition of The Collector Times!
Our cover this month comes courtesy of Daniel Fu.
Daniel Fu and Daniel Sanchez are collaborating on an animated
series entitled The Nine. The first installment will be out around
Christmas this year. You can read more about it this month
when you read my interviews with Daniel Fu
and Daniel Sanchez.
Both make interesting reading for different reasons.
Joe Singleton complies with a readers request (and editor
whining) and does a redesign on Guy Gardner in Artistic
License. And where else but The CT can you find Sidra
Roberts sharing an old family rhyme in her review of
Black Tide #2? Rick Higginson continues his adventures into
role playing in Confessions of a Newbie. Last, but
certainly not least, we have a new comics columnist. This month
we welcome Wally Flores Jr. into the Collector Times stable of
writers. Check out his defense of the Black Panther
comic, Im sure youll be glad you did.
Youll notice an absence of some columns this month. Currently
AJ Reardon and Chris Reid are in the process of moving, and
their columns should be up late, so keep checking back. Paul
Roberts' column is also going to be a couple days late, due to
"tennis elbow" he got chopping banana trees in our backyard
with a machete. We should all thank Paul for just getting the CT
up this month. The mean old Editor/Wife still expects his column,
so keep checking back. The Morrell brothers are off to Disney
World soon, so I dont expect anything from them this month.
Mat Bredfeldt is taking the month off. Expect everyone to
return next month. Or else :P
Speaking of next month, our 4th Anniversary issue is next
month. Expect all sorts of good surprises. One thing we have
planned for next month is coverage of AggieCon,
where the guest of honor is going to be Neil Gaiman. It looks to be a
great con, and rest assured the CT is going to be there.
Until next month, enjoy yourself perusing our site. As always, we
are glad you are here!
