"JASON X"
Yes, that's right folks Jason X. Friday the 13th part 10. I remember
being younger watching these movies, and the long time rumour was that
they were going to make 13 movies in total to go with the name. Then
Friday the 13th: Jason take Manhattan came, and Jason was dissolved in
toxic waste, and we figured, well this is it! But no! Then came Friday the
13th 9: Jason goes to Hell... And at the end, he gets sucked into Hell and
you figure that's the end of it. Funny thing about Jason versus say . . .
Freddy is that they kinda gave up on trying to explain him coming back . . .
He just is.
That being said, this movie was such fun! It really saw the humour in its
previous incarnations. Not to mention Jason's ever creative ways of
killing people really shone through in this movie. Don't get me wrong...
We're not talking Oscar material here! :) ... This isn't even as much of a
"quality" film as Scream was. But it was an absolute riot!! They even kind
of spoof Jason sensing teens having sex in the other room. And young
women taunting him with sex and drugs ( and the inevitable brutal turnout ). So
anyone who's ever loved any single one of these movies HAS to go see
this one!
