Movie: Rock'n'Roll Nightmare.
Written by: Jon Mikl Thor
Starring: Jon Mikl Thor
Ladies and gentlemen... This movie was so bad; I can't stop my
eye sockets from bleeding. From the "haunting" (and I use that
term lightly) opening scene, where a mom gets eaten by those
darn oven monsters to the crazy naked groupie who starts killing
off the band. The movie is about this totally 80s metal band who
move into this barn in Toronto to rehearse their music and to get to
know each other better, etc. Everyone in the band is totally
cheesy, from the shoes to the hair, this is the 80s rock look and it
should be banned. Anyways, The story goes that the drummer
sucks and he's on smack so they want him to be better. At one
concert, he was playing the drums for the wrong song and all their
"fans" noticed, making them look like total fools. So cheesy one
liner jokes ensue... the manager sucks, gets killed off...but of
course, the demons take the car away and the rest of the band
just thinks he went into town to buy drumsticks and alcohol. The
scenes following this revelation are so badly a "sure, but don't try
talking to me, I'm half asleep already."
"ok....[goes on to tell her life story anyways.] so what do you
think?"
"zzzZZZzzzZZZ.."
"Oh men!!"
She then crosses her arms and storms out of the room. This movie
is so terrible, it should be used as human torture in countries that
can't afford the electric chair. With toilet paper constructed
demons, the hair, the barn, and the final battle between Jon Mikl
Thor and Satan... ugh... shoot me now, please... PLEASE!!!
P.S.: after re-reading this brief and aggressive review, I've realized
that I was quite harsh towards poor old Jon Mikl Thor, I'm sorry,
and Id like to remind everyone that watching bad movies is what I
do, sometimes I'm just more in the mood than others. And on that
note, this movie was rented from Succubus, the #1 source for Cult
films in Montreal!
