Welcome to the 5th Anniversary Edition of The Collector Times!
Five years, that's right. In some ways it seems like forever, in others, just like a few issues. There are so many of us who have contributed to this magazine over that last 5 years, I can't begin to name them all. Folks come and go, and come back again. It's been a pleasure working with them all. I'm as grateful to our wonderful readers, who come back month after month and make what we are doing worthwhile. Thank you all!
This is one of our many photos of AggieCon. This is the youngest daughter of writers Steven Gould
and Laura J. Mixon, as she was crowned Miss AggieCon 34. We have a Con Report
and a photo gallery from AggieCon. Please go take a look.
We have additional special features for this issue, too. Please go read Sidra Robert's interview
with comics legend Marv Wolfman, where she asks about his long spanning
career in the comics field. Paul Roberts interviews Steven Gould,
author of several entertaining SF novels. Check out Zack Roman's review of the Beta 3 of Everquest.
Even if you don't play console games, this article is hilarious. Plus, this month we have a
special feature in the reviews section. We asked several of our contributors to list their
favorite links and made a time wasting links article for you. If you get bored with us,
you can go check out our favorite links! This is what my writers are going to do next month
while procrastinating on writing their columns. Yay! The joys of running an online magazine!
On a personal note, Zack Roman and our daughter Sidra Roberts went on a trip to the Czech Republic for spring break. Yeah, I never went to Europe on spring break, either:P
Zack has made a page of the beautiful photos, and if you'd like to see what the Czech Republic looks like, here is the site:
