Happy New Year!!!!
Our cover art comes to us this month courtesy of Brent Padgett, who did this painting several years ago. It's appropriate, because Jamie Coville's interview subject this month is none other than Peter Laird, of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fame. It's an interesting interview, we discover all of the real facts around the creation of the Turtles, and how a simple concept turned into a marketing bonanza.
Jason Bourgeois starts the new year with a new column, entitled Grey Matters. In it, he will look at comics deserving of a wider audience, as well as return to discuss X books periodically. This month he takes a look at the New Thunderbolts. AJ Reardon reviews an Earthdawn Sourcebook entitled The Book of Dragons : Revised and Expanded. For comic fans, Sidra Roberts also gives us a first look at Legion #1. Rick Higginson's novel, Cardan's Pod continues, and this month Rick gives us his own illustration.
