Welcome to the February edition of The Collector Times!
Our cover picture this month is a tribute to the late Will Eisner, done by Gonzo.
We'll all miss Mr. Eisner's work and his commentary on comics. I was fortunate to
have met him in person at San Diego, and he was a lovely gentleman.
Finally, at long last, we are running an interview that I have been wanting to run
for months! Sidra Roberts interviews Owen Dunne, creator of You Damn Kid.
If you haven't seen any of Owen's work before, you should go over to http://www.youdamnkid.com/
right now and peruse some of it. Mr. Dunne has created a hilarious comic strip that was a
major hit with the CT staff at Wizard Chicago. We all think this strip deserves wider
exposure, so if you haven't seen any of it before, you are in for a treat.
Apparently it's Legion of Superheroes month at the CT again. Everyone has something to say
about it. Mat Bredfeldt writes a review, Jason Bourgeois focuses his entire column
Grey Matters on the comics, and Wally Flores Jr compares it with
the relaunch of New Avengers in his column Graphic Content. Another
great comic you need to be reading . . . and I am not saying it just because I'm a life-long
Legion fan.
Plus, we have much more. Take some time out and look around. We are glad you are here!
