Welcome to the December Edition of The Collector Times!
Our cover picture this month comes to us from long time reader, Koz. This is his oldest son Joey, dressed up for Halloween. Always nice to see a comics fan in training!
Happy Holidays to you and yours from all of us at The Collector Times.
We have a lot of interesting stuff for you this month. Jamie Coville interviews retailer
Leon Emmett, where they discuss the business side of comics, something you don't always get to
hear about. Jamie also went to Paradise Comics Comic Fan Supershow and wrote a con report
and took photos. We also have Wizard World Texas photos. Expect the Wizard World
photos and a con report in the next few days, my work schedule has been hectic this month. Wally Flores, Jr. also provides us with an
excellent analogy about Infinite Crisis and Civil War in Graphic Content.
I was laughing, I'm pretty sure you will, too.
On the gaming front, we have some excellent stuff, too. Jesse Willey continues his excellent series on
Canon Continuity and Gaming, where he gives us examples of stock campaign
ideas and ways out of those tired traps. Mat Bredfeldt still needs help with
his gaming, and you can participate! Of course, AJ has her annual Holiday Gift Guide.
On a more serious note, the death of Dave Cockrum has left us all saddened here at The Collector Times.
Sidra Roberts writes a nice tribute to him here. He might have lived a
relatively short life, but his impact upon comics was enormous. We'll all miss him.
As usual, we are glad you are here. We have much more for you, so take some time and look around!
