Welcome to the August Edition of The Collector Times.
Joe Singleton might have taken a break last month, but he's back with a vengeance this month.
Joe had discovered a new program to design spacecraft with, and he's having a blast. Be sure to see all
of his creations over at Artistic License.
Jesse Willey provides some comic relief by doing a Dear Abby sort of thing
involving superheroes. I am sure he wouldn't mind if you sent him additional advice request emails
from superheroes for him to answer in future columns. You can email me at editor@collectortimes.com
with your superhero lovelorn advice and problems and I will make sure he gets your emails. Be creative,
I am sure that Jesse would enjoy the challenge!
Rick Higginson borrows his daughter's Playing God theme and provides his thoughtful
take on the subject related to gaming. AJ Reardon, his daughter, explains again
why Earth Dawn is her favorite RPG. I'm rather proud of that. My daughter Sidra's
friends invented the game, and we gave it to AJ one year and she fell in love with it. It's always nice
to expose friends to things that they might never find on their own.
I was *sick* that I wasn't at San Diego this year. I will be rectifying that next year. Not only will my
immediate family be going, but I'm getting rooms for all of my staff who wish to attend. It's the Legion
of Superheroes 50th Anniversary next year, a CT staff get together, and we plan on celebrating both in
high form here at the old Collector Times.
There's a lot of great stuff here in this issue. Please take some time and look around. And send Jesse
some talented off the wall Superhero/Superhero problems, I'm sure the outcome will be quite hilarious.
As always, we are glad that you are here!
