Welcome to the July Edition of The Collector Times!

Yes, a day late and a dollar short, that's me. Unfortunately my work schedule and procrastinating writers conspired to make things a little late this month, but once you see what we have, I think you'll forgive us.

These are the winners of The Shuster Awards. The Shuster Awards are given annually to recognize Canadian creators past and present for their contributions to the comics medium. Lucky for us, Jamie Coville attended the Sequential Art Symposium and was there was the awards were handed out. We have a con report!

There's so much good stuff this month, I really don't know where to begin. I'd list everything here if I could, it's that good. AJ Reardon gives us a completely different review of WALL-E, which I found interesting. The movie is great, by the way. When I first saw the trailers, I thought "Ehhhhh," but I am glad I got past it and went. It's a nice piece of entertainment with a message. Joe Singleton foregoes drawing this month and tells us what he really thinks about Crisis in the DCU. Not to be outdone, Rick Higginson gives us a preview of what is to come later this month with his list of fun things to do at Comic Con International. Because most of our staff is going, oh yes we are! If you see us, come up and say hi! We're always happy to meet readers. We should have all sorts of wild and crazy stories next month . . . if we all survive.

But in the meantime, you should take some time and look around. As usual, we are glad that you are here.
