Welcome to the December Edition of The Collector Times! I got my holiday gift early this year! Brett Schmidt sent me a picture to put on the front page!
I kinda thought a futuristic air craft was cooler than some holiday themed thing I could grub up, but I'm also a sucker for science fiction. We have lots of good stuff for you this month. Jesse Willey kicks it off with a great interview with J.M. DeMatteis about his past and current works. The League of Explorers continues this month with some of us contributing one scene. You can try to guess who, because we're not going to tell you. We plan on continuing this mode of storytelling until the story is done. Joe Singleton reworks the Red Skull for you in Artistic License. AJ Reardon gives us her annual Giftmas column while Rick Higginson suggests some mood boosters in his column The Eclectic Exegetist. Plus we have lots more, please take some time and look around. After 10 plus years of doing this online magazine, I have decided that henceforth we will upload on the first of the month. I've decided that perhaps my husband and I are entitled to celebrate my birthday and New Year's Eve like regular people. I don't know, like maybe having a life? Probably not, but one can dream! And dreams are good things. They keep us going, give us something to strive for. May all your holiday wishes come true. All of us at The Collector Times wish you a joyful holiday season, and we'll see you next year!
