Welcome to the June Edition of The Collector Times! It's June and the conventions have already started! Jamie Coville went to the Toronto Comics Arts Festival and provides us with a con report and the photo for our front cover!
From left to right are indie creators Jim Woodring, Dan Clowes, James Sturn, Seth and Chester Brown. I read all sorts of comics, so it's great to see all of these guys in one place. Oddly enough, Rick Higginson talks about Phoenix Comicon and the benefits of a smaller convention venue in his column The Eclectic Exegetist. AJ Reardon retuns to the fold with her Playing God column where she discusses flirting in role playing games. Jason Bourgeois talks about Paul Levitz's return to The Legion of Superheroes in Grey Matters (You all knew I'd mention that, right?) Mat Bredfeldt shares some disturbing news about Steve Perry, writer of Thundercats and Shadowhawk in his column "Random Crap". Plus, we have a lot more! Please take some time this month and look around. I'm sure you'll be glad that you did!
