Welcome to the December Edition of The Collector Times! Our cover picture this month comes from the talented Cynthia Griffith. I hope you like it as much as I do.
We have special holiday treats for you this month, oh yes, we do. For those of you in the gift giving market, we have a couple of articles to help you on your way. Zack Roman has provided us with an article about good anime. Zack is new to The Collector Times family, and I think you should read his article. Hes informative *and* funny, a winning combination in my book. I got off my duff and actually wrote an article about my favorite science fiction books, and whereas I am not nearly as funny as Zack, I think I explain the reasons for my choices fairly well. Jamie Coville returns this month, and man, oh man, have I missed him! He has two interviews for you, and I think they are very enlightening. One is with John Byrne, on his recent break from Marvel, and the other is with Bill Jemas, President of Marvel Publishing. Check them out, they provide interesting counterpoints to one another. Jamie also sat in on a Marvel teleconference, see what he found out. As you know, last month we went to UnCommon Con in Dallas. We have con reports and a photo gallery. We had a lot of fun, and I had forgotten how wonderful Texas cons can be. Texans tend to have a sense of humor when it comes to putting on costumes, and when you see the photo gallery, youll understand what I mean. Plus, we have the usual collection of reviews, rants, and assorted columns. Happy Holidays to you and yours from all of us here at The Collector Times family. As usual, we are glad you are here.
