Welcome to the November Edition of The Collector Times!
Our photo this month comes to us courtesy of Jamie Coville. He
covered The Canadian Comic Exposition held at the end of
August in Toronto.
For Jamies Con Report, go here.
Jamies coverage didnt end there, either, he also has some
comic reviews for us, and conducts an
interview with Ty Templeton. Jamie,
by the way, has been working on
an exhibit about comics history for the Houston Museum of Art.
No, me being in Houston had nothing to do with it, its one of
those fortuitous turns of fate. Ill be covering the exhibit for you
when it opens next year.
Speaking of comic reviews, AJ Reardon provides some insight
into the art of criticism in her opinion piece.
Her husband, Chris Reid, speculates on what kind of new RPG games we can
look forward to this Holiday season in Random Thoughts
. Not to be outdone, AJs father, Rick Higgenson
discusses how D&D is a fun filled, wholesome game in
Confessions of a Newbie. Yes, the CT
is a family, in more ways than one : )
I roped, I mean recruited one of Sidras good friends into
writing an anime column for us. Check out Gwynn Grandys
review of Half Dragon, Half Crazy this month.
Gosh, everything in the issue is excellent, I should talk about it
all! Well, except for my guest review in Reader's Bookshelf, maybe: )
Anyway, take some time, check everything out. We are glad
you are here!
