Welcome to the September Edition of The Collector Times!
It's convention month here at The Collector Times! Our cover is a picture from Wizard World Chicago.
(Click on the picture to see a larger version.)
We have con reports from Comic Con International, and
Wizard World Chicago, plus photos
from Chicago. Jamie Coville and give us a brief introduction to the Canadian Comic Expo held in Toronto at the end of August. Expect photos and a con report on Toronto next month.
Rick Higginson gives us a change of pace with an entertaining interview with Steve Jackson,
of Steve Jackson Games. Speaking of Rick, he also gives us an amusing take on the California Governor's Race
in the opinion section, as well as his regular gaming column, Confessions of a Newbie.
It's also old home month at The Collector Times. Scott Crawford returns with a funny review of the Tori Amos concert he attended,
and Ian Johnson returns to Console-tations, the column he originated.
I expect more from Ian and Scott in the future, and I am very glad they are back.
You'll notice that AJ Reardon and Chris Reid are absent this month. Chris had a death in
his family, and they had to go out of state for the funeral. I put out a cry to various
contributors and the response was so wonderful that I was able to give Sidra Roberts and
Zack Roman a much needed month off. That's the nice thing about this magazine, when I am
really up a creek for articles, my friends and contributors will generally come through.
It's a great issue, too! Take some time and look around. I think you'll be glad you did.
As always, we are glad that you are here!
