Welcome to the June Edition of The Collector Times!
Jamie Coville has been a busy man again this past month. He attended Paradise Comics
Toronto Comicon and wrote a whole lot about it. Our cover photo is one from the amazing photos he took.
Jamie's got more con stuff in the conventions section, including
links to several mp3s he taped of the proceedings. Be sure to surf over and look around.
Jamie also conducted an interesting interview with Ramona Fradon,
a silver aged comic book artist who did beautiful work on Aquaman. I actually bought an
Aquaman and Aqualad piece from her several years ago that is absolutely stunning. So I really
think you'll really enjoy the interview. I know I did.
Rick Higginson surprised me with another story he wrote in the Cardan's Pod
universe. It's a Christmas story, and it's June. What better way to cool off than to read about Christmas in June?
It must be summer time, because we have a lot of movie reviews! AJ Reardon gives us an installment of
Bad Martial Arts Movies We Should Avoid like the Plague, Chris Karnes gives us
a review of X-3 (and Jason Bourgeois gives us another view in his column
Grey Matters) and Sidra Roman reviews the remake of The Poseidon Adventure.
Plus, we have lots more! Take some time and look around. As always, we appreciate
your readership and are glad that you are here!
