Welcome to the August Edition of The Collector Times!
I have never rerun a cover before, but this month I am. May I present you with a rare, odd comic from my collection entitled The Great Society Comic Book.
I was given this comic years ago by a dealer friend of mine because he had no idea how to price it
and I liked (and still do like) odd comics. I have always known I had a bit of comics history in
that comic, but I never dreamed that Jamie Coville would track down the creator of this comic and
interview him about it. Yet, Jamie did, and they also discuss discuss Silver Age creator Tony T
allarico's long and varied career in the comic's industry. It's a great read, and if you actually
want to hear the interview, Jamie has a link to it from the transcript in
Coville's Clubhouse.
We have other interesting articles for you this month, too. Jason Bourgeois tells us what he doesn't
like in the 1 year later Flash title in Grey Matters and Wally Flores, Jr.
tells us why he's dropping Squadron Supreme and is considering dropping Green Lantern from his pull
list in Graphic Content. AJ Reardon discusses why she hates cheaters in RPGs
in Playing God, and Christopher Coleman gives us a review of some cell phone
games in Console-tations. Plus, we have lots, lots more.
Take some time and look around. As always, we are glad that you are here!
