Here's my new years baby!
I don't know about you guys, but 2013 was a series of highs and lows for me. The lows? A multitude of health problems and in one instance, I almost died. Plus, DC ended my Legion of Superheroes again. AGAIN. Sick of it DC, putting you on notice. On the upside, Sidra Roberts Roman gave me a grandson and a whole new generation of geekery is upon us. I'm already plotting what Legion costume my grandson is going to wear to conventions . . .
So 2014 has got to be a better year for us all, right? RIGHT! So what do we have this month for you? Joe Singleton is doing some gaming artwork and you all should go check it out in Artistic License. The style is very different from Joe's superhero work and Joe's versatility shines through with this. Speaking of the new year, Rick Higginson gives us an overview of 2013 in The Eclectic Exegetist while Mat Bredfeldt makes Predictions for 2014. Plus there is a lot more. Take some time to look around. I think you'll be glad you did!
