Welcome to the June Edition of The Collector Times!
This month our cover comes from the trade paperback Complex City by JE Smith.
It seems half the CT staff loves this comic. It's now out in a trade, so Sidra
says none of you have any excuse for not ordering it. For the review, go
here. The comic is in black and white, but we used a
color panel from the back.
I also received an alarming press release from Fantagraphics. Through no
fault of their own, they are in financial trouble, and they need our help. If you
want to know why you should support Fantagraphics, I wrote a little
article about my long standing love affair with their product.
So, go over to their site and shop. I did, and Jamie Coville did. The more
the merrier.
It's X-Men month at The Collector Times. Stephane Morrell gives us a review of
the film in What I Care to See and Jason Bourgeois weighs
in with his take in Great X-pectations. Not to be outdone,
Sidra Roberts interviews the creator of some of the characters in the X-Men comic
and film, Dave Cockrum, in Coville's Clubhouse. Joe
Singleton shows us his impressions of the movie and what he'd like to see in
X3. All in his column, Artistic License.
Plus, it's just an odd month. We have a comic review by Joe Singleton, a movie review
by AJ Reardon, a video game review that isn't a video game. Mat Bredfeldt took
time out of his busy schedule to give us an installment of Toy Chest.
Odd but interesting doings, folks. So sit back and enjoy the ride!
As always, we are glad you are here!
