Welcome to the June Edition of The Collector Times!
We apologize that the issue is a day late getting online. We had a tornado blow through our neighborhood early Memorial Day and it took out our power for most of the day. Can't edit or do html when the computers are dead. Luckily, no one was hurt and no houses were damaged by the twister's passage.
And then the last day of month, we were at the airport, picking up our daughter Sidra and her new husband Zack (Console-tations) Roman up from their honeymoon. If you'd like to see photos of the wedding, this is the temporary link:

Select Mr. And Mrs. Zack Roman from the list of people and you are good to go!
Our cover this month comes from Free Comics Day at Atomic Comics in Mesa, Arizona. This photo features Shannon Denton, who is currently working with Keith Giffen on Common Foe. There are a couple more pics here, if you are interested.
I have my copy of Common Foe, do you?
While we were doing our family celebration thing, Jamie Coville was busy at Paradise Comics
Toronto Comicon. He provides us with a con report, a photo gallery,
a review of the first annual Shuster Awards, and sound clips of Warren Ellis in his question
and answer session at the con. To top it all off, Jamie conducts a fascinating interview with
Golden Age artist Jerry Robinson, who created The Joker and Robin
in the Bats mythos.
And if you like gaming and filks, be sure to check out Rick Higginson's hilarious songs in
Confessions of a Newbie. Missing Great X-Pectations? Don't fret!
It's back with New Great X-Pecatations, Jason Bourgeois's satire of
Marvel's marketing strategy. And speaking of marketing strategies, I have
a thing or two to say about the new Supergirl costume.
Plus, lots more. Take some time and look around. We are always glad that you are here!
